Since 1946 a Bach Festival has taken place every year at Greifswald. Of course, compositions of the famous Johann Sebastian Bach play an important part in this outstanding music festival lasting several days in June.

The program is very extensive and of a high standard. It does not only consist of concerts, but usually also of exhibitions, lectures and study groups.

This year´s festival titled "Bach und der ganze Norden" (meaning Bach and the whole North region) will start on Monday 04th June  and continue until Sunday 10th June.
