You can find the
Pomeranian State Museum near the market square. It collects,
cares for, researches and exhibits Pomeranian cultural assets.


The State Museum consists
of two large classicistic buildings which are connected to each
other by a glass corridor. There are three permanent exhibitions:

History,

Natural
History and the

Art
Gallery.

The Art Gallery presents about 200 high-quality paintings, including some by internationally renowned masters such as Frans Hals, Caspar David Friedrich, Philipp Otto Runge, Vincent van Gogh
and Max Liebermann.

Thursday
to Sunday, 10.00 am - 18.00 pm (from May to October)
Thursday to Sunday, 10.00 am - 17.00 pm
(from November to April)
